My Hero Academia is an anime series by Bones, and it is based on the manga of the same name by Kohei Horikoshi. The manga started serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump back in July 2014.

Since then, the manga has become one of Shonen Jump’s most popular. Recently, the manga has trended online several times due to the shocking death of a main character.

Meanwhile, the anime is also a success as it has run for multiple seasons since the initial airing of season 1 back in 2016.

The sixth season adapts the Paranormal Liberation War arc of the manga. This arc is one that fans are excited to see animated as it will show the all-out war between the pro heroes and the Paranormal Liberation Front led by Tomura Shigaraki.

My Hero Academia Season 6 will premiere on October 1, 2022, in Japan. Shortly after each episode’s Japanese release, Crunchyroll will stream the episodes weekly.
