After the next season’s confirmation back in March, the Mushoku Tensei Season 2 release date window has finally been announced. The show’s release date was revealed during Anime Expo 2022, and it was announced alongside a new trailer for the season.
Studio Bind returns to handle animation for Mushoku Tensei Season 2 which is set to premiere sometime in 2023. Right now, there’s no announcement yet on which season in 2023 the series will air.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation (Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu in Japanese) is an isekai light novel series written by Rifujin na Magonote. It initially started as a web novel series but was picked up by MF Books and published as a series of light novels.
The light novels were then adapted into a currently ongoing manga series that started serialization on Monthly Comic Flapper back in May 2014. Both the light novel and manga series are published in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment.
Mushoku Tensei then received an anime series adaptation in 2021. The anime’s first season features 23 episodes and is animated by Studio Bind.
The series follows a 34-year-old shut-in who is kicked out by his family and then gets into a tragic accident. Instead of passing, he finds himself transported into another world as Rudeus Greyrat.
Instead of your typical isekai where the main character revives as a teen or adult hero, Rudeus instead starts his life in another world as a baby.
While he starts his journey as a baby, Rudeus retains his memories and knowledge from his previous life, and he uses these to adapt to his new world and develop his newfound magical abilities.
