Disney+ Day certainly has a lot of treats for Marvel fans. One of the awesome reveals on this special day is the new teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Ms. Marvel series. After all, the new footage finally shows Kamala Khan in action in her full costume. In addition to that, we now have an idea of how her powers work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe show!

We already got a glimpse at Ms. Marvel in a teaser that was dropped during Disney Investor Day back in December 2020. However, it didn't really offer a lot of footage from the series itself. Luckily, the new promo reveals how Kamala got her powers and her awesome costume. Check it out below.

The Ms. Marvel teaser opens with Kamala looking up adoringly at a Captain Marvel statue before she is asked to talk about herself. At this point, the teenager isn't very sure about herself but we see her surrounded in purple light as things go slo-mo.

That purple light might be how Kamala gets her powers and now she's ready to be a hero like Carol Danvers. Still, she has some uncertainties as she dons her full costume. Luckily, her best friend Bruno Carrelli is there to assure her that she's got this.

It's great to finally see more of Kamala in action and we even get a glimpse at how the show will celebrate the comic book hero's heritage. Needless to say, Ms. Marvel is going to be a series to look forward to next year.

Ms. Marvel is created by Bisha K. Ali, who also serves as head writer. The show will star newcomer Iman Vellani as the titular superhero. The cast also includes Saagar Shaikh, Aramis Knight, Matt Lintz, Zenobia Shroff, and Mohan Kapur.

Ms. Marvel has not yet been given an official release date. However, the show is set to premiere on Disney+ in 2022. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
