The Mortal Kombat reboot officially wrapped filming around December last year. Set for a 2021 release, fans are eager to learn some more details about the movie since it seems like the production is firmly kept under wraps. With over one more year to go, when can fans expect the arrival of the film's first trailer?

Mortal Kombat reboot producer Todd Garner was asked by a fan on Twitter on when they could expect a teaser to come out. A specific date wasn't mentioned, but Garner revealed that something is expected to be out this Summer. It is likely that they are planning on unveiling the trailer at San Diego Comic-Con since its potential release date could be between the months of June and August.

There are very limited details revealed about the film and fans have hardly seen any set photos or production-related posts from the actors. The reboot is shot at numerous remote places, which could be the main reason as to why there's barely any set photos making the rounds online.

The Mortal Kombat reboot cast includes Mehcad Brooks as Jax, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion, Josh Lawson as Kano, Tadanobu Asano as Raiden, Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero, Chin Han as Shang Tsung, Sisi Stringer as Mileena, and Lewis Tan.
