Mortal Kombat 11: Official Look at Nightwolf, Gameplay Trailer Tomorrow

Mortal Kombat 11 is another hit for NetherRealm Studios, and everyone is waiting on incoming DLC characters. One classic character coming back to the game is Nightwolf, and game director Ed Boon teases his gameplay trailer which is dropping tomorrow.

Check it out:

The last game that Nightwolf was a playable character was in Mortal Kombat 9 and he appeared as an NPC in MKX. We don't know how he fights with this new game yet, but I guess that's why we're waiting for the gameplay trailer drop tomorrow.

Nightwolf remains to be one of the most prolific icons of Native Americans in video games, and I think it's great that they're bringing him back for MK11. While I'm expecting more or less the same skillset with his axes and thunder, I'm sure the devs have some surprises up in store for one of Earthrealm's best defenders.

Besides Nightwolf, other DLC characters that are rumored to be coming to the game are Sindel, Sheeva, and Fujin. The game is also going to bring in some pop-culture characters like Evil Dead's Ash and Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800 from the Terminator franchise. There was also a data leak that said that Joker from DC was going to be a playable character, but I guess all we fans can really do is wait.

No release date has been set for Nightwolf, but some speculate that he becomes available next month. You can play Mortal Kombat 11 for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
