After months of waiting, we finally know all of the fighters that will be in the Mortal Kombat 11 DLC roster as part of the Kombat Pack. Funnily enough, the identity of these fighters was leaked beforehand and we don't mean all those datamines; Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios leaked it themselves by accident. Yeah, it's a funny case of someone pressing a button too early or the wrong image being used.
That's beside the point however since NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. have also officially revealed who else would be in the DLC pass. Shang Tsung and Nightwolf are already in the game but the Kombat Pack also has a number of guest fighters that will please fans, whether they're Mortal Kombat enthusiasts or not.
Without further ado, the characters joining Mortal Kombat 11 are:
- Terminator T-800 (coming October 8)
- Sindel (November 26)
- Joker (January 28)
- Spawn (March 17)
Releasing a new character every two months isn't a bad strategy since it ensures that people will keep playing and could also lead to more updates or fixes. If we're lucky, they'll also add another DLC pass that gives us even more characters ala Mortal Kombat X but let's not get hasty.
I hope a lot of people really enjoy Mortal Kombat 11 and all the DLC that comes with it. Personally, I think the game is too gory for me but I can appreciate all the hard work done for this game, especially with its stellar story mode.
