Morfydd Clark Confirms New Galadriel Details in The Rings of Power Season 2

There is little doubt that The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 will have a lot of major developments as Middle-earth faces the return of Sauron. Interestingly, Morfydd Clark confirms that Galadriel will do the unexpected in the second season.

Morfydd Clark recently took part in the show's For Your Consideration where she shared some new details about The Rings of Power Season 2 (via Deadline). For instance, she confirmed that Galadriel will be ready to embrace her ring.

“She’s about to have a life-changing thing happen to her. She’s about to become acquainted with Nenya, her ring. It’s really exciting to see how the magic creeps in,” Clark said.

“When we finished Season 1, the rings were being made and we knew it was going to be a huge change for Middle Earth. [Galadriel] is going to be part of that change because she has her own ring,” she added.

We already saw the first three rings, including Nenya, in the first season of The Rings of Power so it would make sense for Galadriel to slowly get used to her ring. However, the three rings are not the only ones we'll see in the second season.

Peter Mullan, who portrays King Durin III in the series, teased that The Rings of Power Season 2 will feature even more rings.

“There are more rings; the show is called The Rings of Power. Maybe I’ll be getting a new necklace, who knows?” he said.

It's great to know that there will be a lot of things to look forward to in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2. With that in mind, we're looking forward to the second season of the series.

For now, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
