Moon Knight Episode 6: Ending Explained for the Finale

If there is something Moon Knight has different from all other titles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it would be the relationship of two people sharing the same body fighting a goddess from ancient Egypt. Marc and Steven finally find peace in the end, however, there is no stopping Khonshu from making him his avatar as there is still Jake Lockley.

As Marc and Steven come back to life, they now come as a package and they dealt with Khonshu to release both of them when Ammit is defeated. Surprisingly, Khonshu fully accepts this deal and complied with it with Harrow on the table after they bound Ammit to him, making both of them vulnerable. With Layla being Marc and Steven’s voice of reason, they chose not to kill Harrow.

As Marc ordered Khonshu to release them, Khonshu did so with no questions. Before getting back to reality, the show jumps to Steven and Marc conversing with Dr. Harrow in office at the psychiatric facility and both of them are now existing interchangeably in one body. The show goes full circle when Marc wakes up in Steven’s flat in London and his foot is still bound to the bed.

The show really has a hint that everything happened within Marc’s mind and it is but a dream that he woke up from. Still, with the post-credits scene, it shows that a third persona, Jake Lockley, is still bound to Khonshu making everything clear that it really happened because Harrow even says they, pertaining to himself and to Ammit, can’t be stopped. Still, Jake pulls the trigger and kills them.

Moon Knight Episode 6, the finale, is now streaming on Disney Plus.
