Andor Actor Reportedly Making an Appearance in The Mandalorian Season 3

As the third season of The Mandalorian is unfolding, fans are wondering what kind of surprises the series have in store in the upcoming episodes. After all, the previous seasons have set a precedent that the series is not privy to surprises and big secrets that they are keeping under wraps.

Since there are still four episodes left in the season, there is still a lot to unfold in the season and surprises that they might have in store. Will we see some appearances from legacy characters? Big-name actors that will surprisingly show up? A character unexpectedly resurrected? The possibilities are out there.

Now, according to Making Star Wars, Genevieve O'Reilly, who plays Mon Mothma in the Star Wars franchise, is set to appear in the current third season of The Mandalorian. This comes after she had a regular role in the first season of Andor.

In addition, they also revealed that O'Reilly will also appear in the upcoming Ahsoka series which will deal with the failing New Republic, Mon Mothma losing control, and the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn. As expected, she is also returning in the second season of Andor, which is currently in production.

So far, Lucasfilm has not confirmed any details so we still have to take it with a grain of salt although it is very likely that they will keep it under wraps if O'Reilly does appear later on in the season.

Considering that Mon Mothma is one of the biggest figures in the Star Wars universe during this timeline and is heavily connected with the New Republic, it is not surprising to hear that we might see her show up in the series later this season and perhaps she will show what the New Republic actually looks like after the events of the original trilogy.

For now, let's just wait and see whether O'Reilly's guest appearance does end up happening later this season and how fans will respond to her when she finally appears.
