Mod Sun's Musical Career
The 35-year-old started his musical career as a drummer for the pop-punk band the Semester and post-hardcore groups Four Letter Lie and Scary Kids Scaring Kids.
In 2009, she went solo and used Mod Sun, though he's also a member of the alternative hip-hop duo Hotel Motel.
His first album, Look Up, came out in 2015 and made it to No. 15 on the U.S. Billboard 200, followed by Movie in 2017, which trended on top of the U.S. Independent Albums and U.S. Heatseekers Albums.

Mod Sun Shares Cryptic Post Amid Avril Lavigne's Alleged New Romance
Sun shared a cryptic post on Twitter on March 5, hinting he's now leaning on his inner circle.
"I'm so grateful to have real friends who will sit on the phone with me for 2 hours," the God Save the Teen musician wrote. "If you got those people in your life, do not let them go."
After just a day, Lavigne was seen packing on a major PDA with Tyga at Paris Fashion Week. The two were photographed holding hands and even kissing in front of a lot of people.

Though the Princess of Rock has yet to address her alleged new relationship with Tyga, her rep confirmed to E! News that she and Sun had called it quits.
