Minnie Driver Joins The Cast of The Witcher: Blood Origin

The prequel of the series of Geralt of Rivia will be arriving on Netflix soon taking everyone back to more than a thousand years prior to the events of the main show, a new cast member joins The Witcher: Blood Origin with Minnie Driver as Seanchaí and the narrator.

The Witcher: Blood Origin just got its release date on Netflix as announced during the TUDUM event as it will be coming out on December 25 this year. News also include the addition of Minnie Driver as the narrator of the series playing the role of Seanchaí.

Minnie Driver personally announced her inclusion in The Witcher: Blood Origin as Seanchaí whom she describes as a shapeshifter who collects old lore, someone who can go through time and worlds, one who belongs to a rare kind, and brings everyone a reminder of what once was.

The Witcher: Blood Origin will be set 1,200 years before the events of The Witcher series as it features a story lost to time about the outcast that will bring about the very first Witcher as the world of elves, men, and monsters become one.

Minnie Driver joins the star-studded cast of The Witcher: Blood Origin as Seanchaí where she will be with Sophia Brown as Éile, Michelle Yeoh as Scían, Mirren Mack as Merwyn, Lenny Henry as Balor, Laurence O'Fuarain as Fjall, and Jacob Collins-Levy as Eredin.

Also in the cast are Huw Novelli as Callan "Brother Death," Amy Murray as Fenrik, Nathaniel Curtis as Brían, Lizzie Annis as Zacaré, Francesca Mills as Meldof, Dylan Moran as Uthrok One-Nut, and Zach Wyatt as Syndril.
