UPDATE: As it turns out, the poster wasn't approved yet, and Disney has asked us to take it down. They did give us the official logo though. Hopefully, we can get some official character art soon.
The original article is as follows:
Though everyone may be excited for Marvel shows or Star Wars' The Mandalorian for Disney+, we're also going to be getting a new spinoff show based on Pixar's Monsters Inc. Just in, we have our first poster for Monsters at Work.
Check it out:
The show is said to pick-up six months after the original film, with Monsters Inc. now harvesting the laughter of children instead. Billy Crystal and John Goodman are reprising their roles of Mike and Sully, but the show looks to have a new protagonist by the name of Tylor Tuskmon who is voiced by Ben Feldman (Mad Men, Silicon Valley).
Monsters at Work will also see the return of cast original voice actors like Jennifer Tilly and John Ratzenberger. Star Wars fans will also recognize Kelly Marie Tran who is voicing a new character named Val Little. What are the odds we get a return of Steve Buscemi's Randall down the line?
Oddly enough, the poster doesn't have the Pixar logo on it, so I think it's safe to assume that another studio will be handling the animation. I never expected them to keep up to the quality of Pixar for a show like this, but hopefully, they manage to pull it off.
No release date has been set for Monsters at Work but we know it comes out 2020. Disney+ launches on Nov. 12 later this year.
