Melania Trump was reportedly not okay with her husband, Donald Trump, having meetings without informing her when they were in the White House. The former first lady allegedly had some concerns — she didn't want to be caught in an uncomfortable situation.

Why Did Melania Trump Want To Be Informed Ahead Of Donald Trump's Meetings When They Were Staying In The White House?

Melania's former chief of staff, Stephanie Grisham, told the House select committee that the ex-FLOTUS had some concerns during an investigation into the Capitol riot.

"She hated when people would come to the residence," Grisham said, Express reported.

"That was her home, she wanted privacy. So I do recall, towards the end, her telling me that there were constant meetings happening in the Yellow Oval, which is the room up in the residence, with various people."

Unfortunately for Melania, she was reportedly not updated on the whereabouts of the palace.

"And she was very upset because nobody would give her a heads-up and was she walking around in a robe, that type of thing," Grisham continued. "But she never gave me specific names other than Sidney Powell, Rudy Giuliani and campaign people. Those were her words."

"Mrs. Trump always wanted to be warned before people were coming into her house."

However, Grisham clarified that it was a "theoretical concern." Melania reportedly didn't make it clear if any unannounced guests actually walked in on her.

"It hasn't been a joyride for our great first lady. It hasn't been a joy ride," Donald said.

"I go home and she says 'you look angry and upset' and I say 'just leave me alone '... it hasn't been the easiest thing, but she has been a great first lady and people love her."
