Meghan Markle has become more open about her life, as well as her struggles and experiences as a royal, ever since she quit The Firm. During her recent interviews, she claimed that a member of the royal family had concerns about Archie's skin color. There was also a time when she said that she and Prince Harry tied the knot privately before their royal wedding, but a priest came forward shortly after to deny her claims.
Does Meghan Markle Exaggerate Her Stories?
During a recent discussion on Royally Us, hosts Christina Garibaldi and Christine Ross looked back at some of Meghan Markle's statements. And the former reminded the Duchess of Sussex that she should be careful with what she says because anyone can fact-check her statements.
"This is just another example where if Meghan was taking advice from someone who ran her PR campaign [these claims may not have been released]. That's why big celebrities have, you know, PR companies and assistants, and things like that, running their team to make sure that these blunders don't happen," Ross said (via Express).

Meghan Markle Should Be Careful With The Things She Says
Garibaldi then mentioned Markle's claims about marrying Prince Harry twice and said that it seems the Suits alum has the tendency to exaggerate her stories.
"I don't know if she's exaggerating the truth a little bit to make it sound more flashy and splashy, but you got to really be careful. People are going to fact-check every single thing. [The claims] don't look good. People are going to stop believing what you're saying because you keep, kind of, tripping up on yourself," she said.
Ross echoed her co-host's sentiments by saying that after people fact-check what Markle says and find out that it's not accurate, it would be difficult for them to believe her again next time.
Meghan Markle Accused Of Lying About Archie's Nursery Catching Fire
Last month, some TikTokers and critics of Markle accused her of lying about her story involving her son Archie. On the podcast, she said that Archie's nursery in South Africa caught fire. But the youngster was lucky to be alive because his nanny decided to bring him down with her when she got a snack.
After sharing her heart-wrenching story, some critics claimed that Markle seemingly exaggerated her accounts. Piers Morgan also stressed the fact that the Duchess of Sussex made a big fuss over the incident even though it was clear that Archie was not in the nursery room when it caught fire.
"So, just to get this right, the baby is, what, not even there? And because the baby wasn't there, she was going to have difficulties going to a function? Oh my God," Morgan said (via The Hollywood Gossip).
As of writing, Markle has not responded to the criticisms and doubts.
