Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently made headlines following the release of the trailer for Harry & Meghan. In it, the couple shared some never before seen clips from the time that the Duchess of Sussex was pregnant, as well as several other key moments.
Meghan Markle Showed Her Vulnerability In Harry & Meghan Trailer?
Body language expert Judi James also analyzed some of the photos and clips featuring Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in the trailer. While speaking with Express, James said that the trailer conveyed that the Duchess of Sussex was in distress and in utter misery.
“The two most powerful images of the many that are shown as tasters of what is to come to seem to reveal Meghan in an apparent state of distress. In the first, she is curled up on a bed clutching a phone in one hand and her face in the other in a pose of what looks in this brief view like utter misery,” James said.

Body Language Expert Called Some Clips From Harry & Meghan Horribly Intrusive
The body language expert went on to question Prince Harry and Markle’s desire for privacy because at least one of the scenes in the trailer seemed intrusive.
“We have been told of her suffering and her vulnerability in the past and this pose makes for difficult viewing, even to the point of prompting concern over who actually filmed or photographed her in this moment of what looks like distress. It looks horribly intrusive based on the couples’ desire for privacy and she looks so sadly isolated here but hopefully, we will be reassured in the series that her hidden facial expression is less worrying than it looks,” James explained (via Cheat Sheet).
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Showed Unity Of Purpose In Harry & Meghan?
According to the expert, Prince Harry also made a gesture of helplessness and frustration while sitting beside a crying and emotional Markle.
But despite the couple’s vulnerability in the trailer, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex also showed a sense of unity in the clip.
“In an act of what looks like the unity of purpose and objectives over this documentary, Meghan is shown later in an almost identical, mirrored pose to the camera, talking about ‘when the stakes are high and their enduring love story is clearly featured, with many shots of the couple looking happy and ecstatically happy together,” James said.
Harry & Meghan is slated for release on Netflix on Dec. 8 and Dec. 15.
