Meghan Markle has upgraded her fashion after Megxit. Prince Harry's wife has gotten the California Montecito rich mom thing and has started dressing like a "very young billionaire," according to a fashion writer.
Meghan Markle Upgrades Fashion After Leaving The Palace
The Duchess of Sussex has been known for her fashion. She and her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, are often pitted against each other because they both have impressive styles.
However, the former Suits star had upgraded her fashion when she returned to California and after she and her husband purchased a $14 million mansion in Montecito. Eloise Moran, fashion writer and author of Lady Di Look Book, spoke about the change to Markle's fashion when she appeared on Royally Us podcast.
"It’s definitely evolved," Eloise said about the changes in Markle's fashion. I think we’ve kind of seen her ditch the classic tropes of what it means to be in the Royal Family – having to maybe cover up certain things, certain hemline lengths."
She added, "So she obviously has got this 'California Montecito rich mom' thing going on when she is in California. But what I loved about the New York trip so much is, I think she kind of displayed this succession style, which I like to say is 'mogul style', it's a very young billionaire outfit."

Meghan Markle Follows Princess Diana's Business-Chic Looks
The fashion writer also pointed out how Prince Harry's wife took cues from his mom in her new style. She pointed out Markle's outfits in New York, which are very similar to the late Princess of Wales.
"We saw that in the black and tan looks that she wore, which was a colour palette that Princess Diana was so adopted when she went to New York," the writer said. "And in her short dress that she wore to Global Citizen concert and it was a Valentino little white shift dress, showing a lot of legs and high heels."

She also added that just like Princess Diana, there is a sense of "relief" in Markle's outfits.
"You can see she is a lot freer in her style," Eloise said.
Prince Harry's mother was also a fashion icon. Until today, her black off-the-shoulder mini outfit many dub as revenge dress is still a topic among royal fans. Several called it that way because Princess Diana wore it on a gala scheduled on the same day Prince Charles confessed about having an affair.
