Meghan Markle was accused of using the racist card in Britain after accusing the royal family of being racist. Her critic also slammed her acting career, calling her a "D-list actress."

Meghan Markle Allegedly Use The Race Narrative Against Royal Family

American conservative and commentator Candace Owens joined Matt Walsh on his YouTube Channel, where they talked about Meghan Markle's racism allegations against the family during her and Prince Harry's interview with Oprah Winfrey last year.

During the interview, Markle claimed that a member of the royal family raised concern about the color of her unborn baby. The remark sparked outrage, with many accusing the members of the firm as racist.

"This is a Hollywood star going into a country that loves its traditions and then accusing them of being fundamentally racist," Owens said as quoted by Express.

"It's just like, let's keep the American BS race narrative at least within the bounds of America. Let's not extend it overseas to Europe because they have a different culture there, they've been around much longer. You know in England, [they] never had slaves in its country and by the way, in terms of worldwide slavery, the Englishmen were the first to abolish it."

She added that Markle was "relying on American ignorance and the race obsession in America and extending it overseas," which Owens said was "bothersome."

"It's the height of ignorance to me to have this D-list actress that nobody knew go over there. Not her race is not discernible by the eye," she added, pointing out that when Markle walks into a room, no one would say she's a black woman.

She also wasn't sold with the idea of Markle claiming his son faces anti-black racism in his life. Photos of 3-year-old Archie were released, and the child has fair-white skin.

"I think we're just tired of the race narrative here in America and it's just obnoxious that we've sent this girl to start the same thing overseas," she added.

Meghan Markle's Critic Speaks About Royal Family

In their conversation, Owens clarified that she isn't a fan of the royal family because Walsh was wondering why people care so much about them.

"So I have to say, I never had an appreciation for royals. It's just something that Americans don't really jive with. It never makes sense to me," she told the host.

"But I fell in love and married an English man, right," she continued while smiling.

Owens is married to George Farmer in 2019. Farmer is an Englishman and former chairman of Turning Point UK.

After marrying a man from Britain, Owens admitted that she "kind of learned to appreciate the significance of the Queen." She also started to understand that there is something in their country that has remained solid and unchanged over time, referring to the monarchy.

She acknowledged that it's difficult for the Americans to comprehend because "we don't really do traditions." She pointed out that Americans  "tear down" and "build something new." For her, it's the reason people follow the royal family.
