Meghan Markle and Prince Harry created a buzz recently when they returned to British soil together again for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Though they spent most of their visit out of the public eye, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended Trooping the Colour and watched with other royal family members from the Major General’s office.
The parents of Archie and Lilibet were not invited to join Queen Elizabeth on the balcony during the flypast as they are no longer working senior royal family members. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped back from their royal roles and duties in January 2020.

Meghan Markle Looked To Make A Splash At Platinum Jubilee Ceremonies
National Enquirer, in its June 6, 2022 issue, reported that Meghan Markle pummeled off the pounds since giving birth to Lilibet and hoped to make a royal flush with her newly slender frame. However, sources claimed Kate Middleton threw a wrench in her plans by allegedly agreeing to freeze out the royal grenades during the Sussexes’ entire trip to Britain.

An unnamed palace insider told the entertainment news outlet:
“Kate has no interest – now or never – in listening to Meghan’s sob stories and excuses. She didn’t want Meghan at the ceremonies and dreaded the prospect of coming face to face under any circumstance. She’s been polite and courteous, of course, as is her husband, William, but they made it known they’re too busy to socialize!”
National Enquirer previously reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s rift with Kate Middleton and Prince William have exacerbated after the Sussex couple’s TV tell-all trashing the royal family and accusing them of racism and neglect.
The palace source added:
“There’s little to zero chance of any lasting peace between the two duchesses. Meghan seems determined to one-up Kate, who insists the only path to lasting peace would be receiving a meaningful public apology from Meghan, which everyone knows will never happen.”
In May, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson explained Queen Elizabeth’s decision to only have the senior working royals in the balcony appearance, which means Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are excluded. It said:
“After careful consideration, the Queen has decided that this year’s traditional Trooping the Colour balcony appearance on Thursday 2nd of June will be limited to Her Majesty and those members of the Royal Family who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of the Queen.”

Aside from Trooping the Colour, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry also graced the national Service of Thanksgiving during Platinum Jubilee on Friday. Kate Middleton and Prince William had no snapped reunion with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan Markle has yet to comment on the claims that she was told to stay out of sight during her most recent visit to the U.K. So, devoted supporters of Prince Harry’s wife should take all these unverified reports with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Overshadowed Queen Elizabeth?
Meanwhile, many members of the royal circle were reportedly shocked after it was confirmed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the U.K. before the platinum jubilee celebrations were finished, which delivered a snub to Queen Elizabeth and the organizers of the event.
It was reported that Duke and Duchess of Sussex boarded a private jet, on Sunday, an hour before the big jubilee pageant in central London started, landing back in Los Angeles at 6 p.m. An unidentified insider told The Sun that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “just left.”

An unidentified friend of the royals shared to The Daily Beast:
“So much for not overshadowing the queen. Would it have killed them to wait a few hours?”
Notably, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrated the first birthday of their daughter, Lilibet, in England on Saturday. Entertainment Tonight confirmed that Archie’s sister met Queen Elizabeth on Thursday.
Both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have yet to comment on their most recent trip to the U.K. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not active on social media as of this writing.
