Meghan Markle and Prince Harry received another round of criticisms from her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., in his latest interview. The Markle patriarch said that he still loves his daughter but doesn't like what she has become.

Meghan Markle And Father Have Different Narratives About Her Life Growing Up

Thomas Markle Sr., 77, sat down for an interview with The Sun, where they talked about his daughter, Meghan Markle. The Duchess of Sussex penned a letter to Congress urging them to support paid parental leave.

In her letter, the duchess claimed that she "grew up on the $4.99 salad bar" at Sizzler family restaurants, which her father said was not true.

"We’d do the best restaurants in town and we’d do Sizzler because it was convenient. We never had to rub our pennies together and just have the salad bar," the award-winning lighting director said. "She had the salad bar — but she had a meal as well.

Meghan Markle Also Allegedly Lied With Her Education

It wasn't the first time Markle and a family member didn't agree on her story. Prince Harry's wife previously said she put herself through college at Northwestern University through work-study and financial aid, when she talked to a crowd of graduating college students.

Markle claimed that she could relate to the excitement and pride of graduating from the university. She also shared that she could relate to the challenges of affording one's education because she experienced the same.

"It was with scholarships, financial aid programs, and earnings from a job on campus that went directly towards my tuition that I was able to attend university and without question, it was worth every effort," Markle said.

However, her half-sister Samantha did not agree with what Markle said and called her out for allegedly lying. According to Samantha, their dad paid for Markle's tuition from the time she was in elementary school at LA's exclusive Little Red Schoolhouse to her high school years at private Catholic school Immaculate Heart. Thomas Sr. also paid for her expensive tuition in Chicago.

"Dad paid her college tuition! She forgot the most important part of her speech and there are receipts to prove it," Samantha tweeted, Hollywood Life reported. "I love my sister, but this is ridiculous. You can’t lie like this, Meg! Delusionally absurd."

In another tweet, Samantha reiterated her point, writing, "Our father paid for her education. This speech is not true."

Thomas Sr. Slammed Prince Harry

Thomas Markle Sr. once again slammed his son-in-law, Prince Harry, for quitting as a senior working royal. Meghan Markle's father accused her husband of walking away from his responsibilities and it was ridiculous.

"He’s a candya--. I’d take him on at my age any time. He’d run away from me," Thomas Sr. said.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex already addressed their exit from the royal family. According to Prince Harry, his wife struggled mentally while they were in the palace. Markle told Oprah Winfrey during their interview that there was a time when she was suicidal.

Prince Harry said they tried to make things work for four years. However, Markle was having a hard time in the U.K, so they decided to leave their royal duties and move away.
