The former Suits star has been known for wearing designer outfits. Since she married Prince Harry, she has been rocking outfits from Dior, Givenchy, Prada, and Channel. She usually pairs her luxurious outfits with expensive accessories.
In 2021, Meghan Markle spent $78, 822 (£58,388). It was $18,899 (£14,000) more from her wardrobe expenses in 2020. She also wore jewelry worth $59,653 (£44,188), Daily Mail reported.
The outlet noted that Markle's wardrobe expenses surpassed her sister-in-law Kate Middleton who only spent $64,799.28 (£48,000).
The increase in Markle's wardrobe expenses is a bit surprising because, unlike the Duchess of Cambridge, she is no longer a working royal and has no royal engagements to attend to. But she also made several appearances, like her trip to New York when she visited the state for the Global Citizen Live event.

Also, Markle took maternity leave last year after she gave birth to baby Lili in June. So, the duchess was out of public sight for a couple of months.
However, there was a vast reduction in Markle's wardrobe expenses compared to 2019, when she spent $285,782 (£211,693) for her outfits. At the time, Prince Harry and Markle were still working royals.

Meghan Markle also wore a $4,500 white dress by Valentino when she graced the Global Citizen Live festival in Central Park. She also paired it with the San Gallo Couture mini dress with a $16,500 set of Cartier earrings, a $12,000 Cartier watch, and a $6,900 Cartier "love" bracelet, Daily Mail previously reported.
The outlet noted that on one occasion in NYC, she stepped out in a whopping $11,525 (£8,537) outfit when she stepped out to the Global Live Citizen event.

However, Markle rocked her most expensive outfit — the Loro Piana 'Loreen' cape coat — when she visited a Harlem school. The premium outfit boasts a reversible style, an oversized cape shape, and a detachable collar.
