Cardi B is hoping to have a word with Meghan Markle after winning a defamation lawsuit against the celebrity news blogger, Tasha K. if her tweet is anything to go by. Prince Harry’s wife has been known for being the often topic of online hate and it looks like she is about to create an army to fight the trolls.

Cardi B made a tweet on Wednesday, Jan. 26, saying she “needs a chat” with Meghan Markle. This supposed talk may have something to do with the Playboy creative director’s own problems with online trolls.

The Online Hate against Meghan Markle, Cardi B

In Atlanta, a federal jury granted the 29-year-old rapper $1.25 million after winning a legal battle against a U.S. YouTuber. The blogger was found guilty of posting hate videos, accusing the songwriter of using cocaine, contracting herpes and engaging in prostitution, Express noted.

Her lawyers claimed the defendant’s series of “slanderous and defamatory statements” against the “WAP” hitmaker had resulted in “embarrassment, humiliation, mental anguish, and emotional distress.”

Cardi B’s win came after Bot Sentinel published a report revealing Meghan Markle was the target of a £2.8-million "hate for-profit enterprise" on YouTube. The Duchess of Sussex said in 2019 that she was very much aware of being one of the “most trolled people” in the world.

The jury found Latasha Kebe, also known as Tasha K online, and her company responsible for defamation. She was also guilty of invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress against Cardi B.

However, according to Fox News, Kebe’s lawyers revealed they would file an appeal after disagreeing with the verdict.

This is not the first time Kebe has accused Cardi B of things. In fact, she has been throwing online hate against The Hustlers star since 2018.

The lawsuit reveals Kebe has been making “degrading and harassing statements” about the performer. She even published a video of the interview she did with a woman on Sept. 19, claiming the interviewee had known Cardi B before she had a music career.

The clip featured “false, malicious and defamatory” statements against the celebrity. The woman said Cardi B used to be a prostitute, had herpes and even suffered outbreaks on her mouth.

She, too, was the one who accused her of using cocaine. So when the jury sided with Cardi B, it just introduced a new conversation about the dangers of online bullying and defamation.

These are the same things Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have faced and even brought in court since they had a relationship.

Meghan Markle and the Monetized Hate Campaign

Meanwhile, Newsweek reported 25 YouTube channels have been gaining huge profits for launching a hate campaign against Meghan Markle. These channels, reportedly, earn about $3.5 million from ad revenue, per a data analysis agency.

In fact, in the calculation of Bot Sentinel’s report, the three most successful YouTube accounts that continuously troll the former Suits star have already earned around $494,729 since they start to operate.
