Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will soon notice that they will be featured lesser and lesser in magazines in the U.S. as the country geared for the arrival of Kate Middleton and Prince William later this year. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to visit London for the second Earthshot Prize ceremony.

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Out? Kate Middleton And Prince William In?

Royal commentator Neil Sean, who has been featured in several media outlets, including Fox News, NBC News / MSNBC & Access Hollywood and numerous daily papers, including Daily Mail and Us Weekly, to name a few, weighed in on the Sussexes and Cambridges' appearance in the magazines in the United States in the upcoming months.

In his opinion, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could be "dumped" for "not selling as much", and they might see more publications featuring the future king and queen of England soon.

"For Meghan Markle, this truly has to hurt. But we warned her and, more importantly, she failed to take notice," he said on his YouTube channel, Express reported. "Because of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge heading over to the United States of America for their Earthsot Charity, a lot of people are going to be really interested over in the States. Celebrities simply migrate to the next big thing, wherever you where, you're now yesterday's news."

He added that a magazine that used to support the royal couple based in California had already changed track. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had reportedly noticed it.

"And Harry and Meghan are seemingly finding that. This particular front cover from a magazine that truly did really embrace everything they were all about – wokeness, saving the planet and, more importantly, just loving them – they've decided to change tack," he added.

"This is all to do that also the editor of the magazine recently changed and, according to a very good source, allegedly the magazine editor isn't as sympathetic as the previous editor."

Kate Middleton, Prince William Vs. Meghan Markle, Prince Harry In America

Last month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's biographer, Omid Scobie, wrote about the Cambridges and Sussexes' presence in the United States. The Finding Freedom co-author claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are more popular in the states.

"The story of Meghan’s journey as a royal (and all things related to it) still accounts for the majority of royal coverage in the US," Scobie wrote for Yahoo! News UK.

"That space was once occupied by the Cambridges. In the couple’s earlier days, one couldn’t move for TV specials and magazine covers about William, Kate and their growing family. But as their life fell into a stable groove, the excitement and curiosity for the pair waned."

He added that while Prince Harry's popularity in Britain has wained, his name has risen in the U.S. Scobie, who has been speaking positively about the Sussexes, also pointed out that Prince Harry and Markle were named two of the most influential people by TIME magazine.

The royal correspondent and author questioned whether the Cambridges were competing with the Sussexes because he felt that the latter also wanted a presence in America or just boosting their PR.

According to Scobie, Prince William and Middleton are allegedly tougher to sell in the U.S. but they are still popular in the U.K.

"And it seems Kensington Palace is now hoping they can do the same in the US," he wrote.

"William is keen for his work to be seen and have impact outside of the UK and the royal bubble," a source said reportedly told him. "The charitable landscape in America is huge and he wants to have a presence."

However, some sources claimed that the Cambridges have remained popular stateside.

A poll from Express showed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were both behind Prince William and Kate Middleton in terms of popularity in the U.S.A. Another poll from The Sun also showed that the Duchess of Cambridge was twice as popular as the Duchess of Sussex.

"Kate has become an even bigger superstar without ever setting foot here," American royal commentator Christopher Andersen said. "She embodies everything Americans expect in a princess destined to become Queen — beauty, grace, regal bearing and the ability to connect."
