Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will return to the United Kingdom next month after the frosty welcome they received during the Platinum Jubilee celebration. However, it's not sure if Queen Elizabeth will be available to see them as Her Majesty also has a busy schedule.

Queen Elizabeth Reportedly Has Plans That 'Cannot Be Moved' To See Meghan Markle And Prince Harry

The 96-year-old British monarch has a busy schedule at the beginning of September. At about the same time, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be returning to the U.K. for some engagements. Thus, the Queen might not be able to see them.

"Some things cannot be moved," sources at Buckingham Palace told Daily Beast.

The insiders added that "there was no intention to steer clear expectations,"  it's just that the week commencing Sept. 5 is a jam-packed week for the Queen's constitutional duties.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be in the U.K. for the One Young World 2022 Summit in Manchester on Sept. 5, and again on Sept. 8 at the WellChild Awards. In between those dates, they will fly to Germany to be at an Invictus Games event in Düsseldorf.

The couple are expected to stay at their Windsor residence, Frogmore Cottage. However, sources told The Sun that they have no plans to meet Prince William and Kate Middleton, who will be living close to them, by then.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are moving to Windsor this summer. They will be occupying the Adelaide Cottage.

The Sussexes and Cambridges are not expected to meet because Prince Harry and Prince William are reportedly barely on speaking terms.

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry's UK Return's Timing Is Reportedly Interesting

Cameron Walker, a royal reporter at GB News, weighed in on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's UK tour next month. According to him, the timing was "interesting" because it happened at about the same time when the members of the royal family, especially the Queen is very busy.

"What's interesting is the timing of this visit," Walker said on GB News of Markle and Prince Harry's U.K. charity tour. "Constitutionally, it's a very busy time for the royal family."

For Walker, "plans would have been placed way before any kind of Tory leadership timetable would have been announced. I think it's unfair to say that it's all a conspiracy."

There are speculations on Twitter that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are trying to upstage the royal family. They made the announcement on Princess Anne's birthday. The Princess Royal is the "hardest working royal" based on the number of engagements she attends every year.

"I think it's perhaps unfair to say it's purely down to trying to upstage the royal family or to upstage the Tory leadership election," he added.
