Meghan Markle and Prince Harry arrived in the U.K. Wednesday and will be staying there over the weekend for the four-day festivity of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. One reporter warned them ahead of what awaited them while in the U.K.

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Will Be In A Difficult Position This Week

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are joining Britain as it celebrates Queen Elizabeth's 70 years on the throne. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived with their two children son Archie, 3, and daughter Lilibet, who would turn 1 on Saturday.

However, culture reporter Thomas Mitchell warned the Sussexes of the "tough week" that awaits them in England. The royal couple who stepped back from their royal duties might find themselves in a difficult situation where they seemed to have no choice.

"It's hard to empathise with Harry and Meghan but I do feel like they're in a position where they're damned if they do, damned if they don't," Mitchell told Extra, per Express. "If they make a big fuss about coming over, they'll be accused of stealing the limelight. And if they keep their heads down then it's like, 'they don't care about the family.'"

Mitchell added, "They're going to have a tough week and it's going to be interesting to see how it plays out."
