Meghan Markle and Prince Harry already confirmed their attendance at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebration. However, they won't be joining the Her Majesty on the balcony after Queen Elizabeth's recent decision.

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Will Not Appear On Balcony With Queen Elizabeth

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex said "yes" to the Queen's invitation. Their fans were happy, with some already excited about what Meghan Markle would wear on the balcony.

However, Prince Harry and Markle will not join the Queen on the balcony for Trooping the Colour. The 96-year-old British monarch decided to limit the royals on the balcony, and the Sussexes did not make it to the cut.

Prince Andrew and his daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice will also miss the event after being part of it for years.

"After careful consideration, the Queen has decided that this year's traditional Trooping the Colour balcony appearance on Thursday 2nd of June will be limited to Her Majesty and those members of the Royal Family who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of the Queen," a Buckingham Palace spokesman said in a statement, People reported.

Who Will Join Queen Elizabeth On The Balcony Sans Meghan Markle And Prince Harry

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from their royal duties in 2020. Prince Andrew also made the same decision after he was associated with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. So, the three royals do not qualify to join the Queen on the balcony.

Prince Harry's cousins Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice will also not be part of the lineup. Prince Andrew's daughters are not working royals ever since.

Queen Elizabeth II will be joined by Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex. Queen Elizabeth's cousins, the Duke of Kent, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and Princess Alexandra will also be in attendance.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's three children, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, will also be there, as well as the Count and Countess of Wessex's two children, Lady Louise Windsor, 18, and James, Viscount Severn, 14.
