Meghan Markle didn't make as many public sightings as her husband earlier this year. Prince Harry attended his first Super Bowl sans his wife, instead, he was accompanied by his royal cousin, Princess Eugenie. Following Markle's spate of appearances, one journalist claims that it was a hint the royal couple was in trouble.

Meghan Markle Making Multiple Appearances Could Be A Hint Sussexes Are In Trouble

Meghan Markle has been spotted out and about lately. She joined Prince Harry in the Netherlands for the Invictus Games in April, and she had been seen cheering on her husband in Santa Barbara during polo tournaments.

She also flew to Texas following the elementary shooting, which raised many eyebrows. While the Duchess of Sussex was there to pay tribute to the 19 individuals who were killed following the mass shooting, many were not impressed because she allegedly hadn't visited her father, Thomas Markle Sr. who was hospitalized that week due to a major stroke.

British journalist Richard Eden, Daily Mail Diary editor, weighed in on Markle's public sightings. According to him, it's an indicator that something is off in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

He noted the cancelation of Markle's animated series Pearl on Netflix and how she devoted "a lot of time and effort" to the project. Also, he felt that the royal couple has "over-extended themselves" with their financial commitments. The pair signed a multi-million and multi-year deal with Netflix and Spotify.

"I do sense there's a bit of trouble there really," Eden said, Express reported. "It's very curious all these photos of Meghan getting involved with all these polo events."

He continued, "I remember writing about the polo back in Britain years ago that Meghan wasn’t very keen for Harry to play in polo matches unless it could be guaranteed that it would raise £1million for charity each time."

According to Eden, Markle reportedly felt it was "kind of beneath" for Prince Harry to play matches, making only a few thousand pounds when he could go for big-ticket matches. However, there seemed to be a change in the trend.

"But here he is, playing polo every week, and we’ve got Meghan turning up at all these events, handing over trophies, the same way she turned up at the Invictus Games," the royal expert added. "To me, that’s an indication that all’s not well."

Meghan Markle Always Present In Prince Harry's Polo Matches

Prince Harry has been playing polo in Santa Barbara. He joined the Los Padres team earlier this year. He plays alongside his pal Nacho Figueras, Keko Magrini, and Juan Guerrero.

The team has won several tournaments already. Last week, they took home the Lisle Nixon Memorial trophy after competing at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club in California, People reported.

The couple made headlines after they shared a sweet kiss when Markle handed her husband the trophy following their team's victory. Earlier this month, Prince Harry and his team also competed and won at the Harry East Memorial Tournament at the Santa Barbara Polo Club. Markle was present at both tournaments.
