Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Are Selling Their Montecito Mansion
In July 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved into their own home in Santa Barbara. However, over a year after they moved there, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are ready to move into another home. And the royal couple is reportedly already showing it to potential buyers.
"They are thinking of selling their house there. However, it won't be on the market because of who they are," an unnamed source told Daily Mirror. "It's only being shown to people who are confirmed with funds and are serious buyers. They want to stay in the neighborhood or nearby, but they aren't over the moon about the house and the location."
Markle showed a glimpse of their mansion in multiple instances. She was spotted filming in their luxurious abode during a message she shared on her 40th birthday. The duchess also showed the inside of her home during an appearance on America's Got Talent.
What's In Meghan Markle And Prince Harry's $14-Million California Mansion
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 18,000-square-foot modern home in Los Angeles has nine bedrooms and 16 bathrooms. It is surrounded by lush green gardens and overlooks the sea.
It features a wine cellar, play area, and pub games room. The Chateau of Riven Rock has a foyer with a staircase, an elevator, living and dining rooms, a gourmet kitchen with a butler's pantry, a breakfast room, a family room, and a billiards room with a wet bar.
It is also complete with amenities that will make one stay home on weekends with their family. It has a gym, spa, separate guesthouse, tennis court, and a swimming pool.
The couple's bedroom suite has a fireplace, a television, a chandelier, and exposed wood beams on the ceiling. It has French doors and a balcony too. It also comes with an extravagant bathroom with a fireplace, a chandelier, a marble bathtub, and large vanity, plus another sitting room, according to Home Advisor.
Prior to moving to their own home, the couple previously stayed in Tyler Perry's mansion. It was an excellent location for them because it was near Markle's mom. And at the time, Markle was struggling with her mental health.
"It was a good place for them to be upon their arrival in the US, to be close to Meghan’s mom [who lives in LA]," an anonymous source told Page Six.
