It has been more than two years since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided to leave the British Royal Family, and their lives have completely changed. Before, the royal couple would go on tours to the British Commonwealth countries as part of their duties. But, now, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would go about their days when they want and where they want.
In March, Prince Harry's older brother, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton, concluded their visit to the Caribbean region. Despite the Cambridge couple being welcomed warmly by the people in Belize, Jamaica, and the Bahamas, they were also greeted with a protest calling for reparations for slavery and colonialism. Multiple reports believe that the recent royal tour was a PR disaster.
Meghan Markle Allegedly Believes It's Karma
Heat U.K. claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry closely followed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's royal tour. The disastrous tour reportedly delivered a "sense of karma" from the Sussexes perspective.
"Of course, Harry and Meghan have followed this whole saga extremely closely. And while Meghan isn't looking to pick a fight with Kate or delight in any wrongdoing, there's definitely a sense of karma here from the Sussexes' perspective," an insider revealed.
The magazine's unnamed source further shared that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are quite pleased with how the Cambridges are being scrutinized and held accountable for the royals' actions, not just their own.
"It's not always a bed of roses, just because they've turned up and made nice with locals, who have a right to be heard and to sound off about something that's of great concern to them," the insider continued.
Meghan Markle Can Save The Royals?
A royal historian believes that Meghan Markle could save the royalty. The Duke of Sussex was always a great representative of the crown for Royal tours. With Meghan Markle's more forward-thinking, she and Prince Harry would have been a better pick to do the tour of the Commonwealth Caribbean. In addition, Prince Harry has created a great rapport with the heads of the Caribbean countries.
"The question I suppose that might have been asked is, if Harry and Meghan were still part of the group, would they be the ones on the tour to the Caribbean? Well, probably, simply because Harry had built a good rapport already [with Caribbean countries]. And Meghan is much better known in that part of the world," Dr. Ed Owens shared.
In addition, Heat's source revealed that Meghan Markle believes she and Prince Harry would have done a better job. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a more modern view, and they hold a greater interest among the younger generations.
Both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have yet to confirm these claims. So, devoted supporters of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should take all these unverified reports lightly until everything is proven true and correct.
