Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been making it to the headlines lately amid the Duke of Sussex’s security row. Reports have it that the latest move of Prince William’s brother is an indication that he is very open to coming back to the U.K. to supposedly grace the memorial service of the late Prince Philip and the upcoming Platinum Jubilee celebrations of Queen Elizabeth.
Speculations have it that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are not on the same page with regards to the possibility that the Sussex family would be returning to Britain two years after their infamous Megxit. The former Suits actress is said to be reluctant to fly off to the U.K. as she is, allegedly, not ready to face the royal family yet.

Now, new reports are saying that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were advised to skip the memorial service for Prince Philip in April and send a video message instead. Keep on reading to know more details.
Are Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Attending Prince Philip’s Memorial?
Rumors about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s attendance in an imminent spring service for the life of the late Prince Philip at Westminster Abbey in Buckingham Palace in April continue to mount recently. While avid followers of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are thrilled to see them reunited with the other members of the royal family, royal commentator Neil Sean suggested the royal couple should stay away from the event.
Instead, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were advised to send a “private video message” to the royal family. Speaking on his YouTube channel Daily News Headlines, Neil Sean stated:
"It's very difficult for Harry and Meghan because if they do come back over here whichever way they turn all eyes will be on them. The media will want to know which family members interact, which don't. I don't necessarily see this as a way forward."
The royal commentator went on to say that:
“This may be played privately at a function afterward at Windsor Castle. I think this will be the best way forward for the ex-royals because they know that day shouldn't be about them. It should be about remembering a wonderful man but more importantly, the focus should be on the Queen and allowing her to remember Philip."
Most, if not all, royal fans are aware that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have not returned to the U.K. together since their shocking departure from the royal family. The Duke of Sussex attended the funeral of his grandfather sans his wife and son, Archie.
The appearance of Prince Harry, at the time, marked the first time he has returned to England since stepping down as a senior working member of the royal family. Recently, the husband of Meghan Markle told a New York gala honoring veterans that he was living the “American Dream” after riding in a car shaped like a hotdog.
Earlier this month, Prince Harry issued a statement about his application for judicial review after a Home Office decision previously ruled that he would not be able to personally fund police protection for Meghan Markle, Archie, and Lilibet while in the U.K. The statement read:
“Prince Harry inherited a security risk at birth, for life. He remains sixth in line to the throne, served two tours of combat duty in Afghanistan, and in recent years his family has been subjected to well-documented neo-Nazi and extremist threats. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stopped getting tax-payer-funded police protection the moment they announced their decision to ditch the royal life for good in January 2020. Since they moved to North America, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex began to “personally fund a private security team for their family.”
Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Sparked PR Disaster?
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly sparked a “PR Disaster” after they failed to deliver content for Spotify.
During an appearance on TalkRADIO, brand guru Mark Borkowski said that the Sussex couple has a “nightmare” on their hands after the music streaming company decided to take control of their projects, saying:
"It was a great publicity coup for them to create their narrative but also for Spotify. I think at the time, you know, I think we might have spoken but you know, what is the content? What is the output? All these comparisons with this was going to be the new Obamas, this was Michelle and Barack. Lots of comparisons on the content they were going to produce. You know, as well as I do, delivering content, engaging content, you just don't pluck it off some tree at the bottom of the garden. This is hard work and you absolutely need a team of people to help you develop a quality product, particularly quality content and obviously they've never struck me as team players. You've got a sensation, I might be wrong, that they're very directional in what they think they want and what they think they want to give. They have probably gone through enough people not to help them because of their stance on what they want to produce.”
Of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s alleged PR disaster, Mark Borkowski added:
"What they think is great content, what they think they want to tell the world probably not particularly good and they've obviously lent on their celebrity mates Corden and Elton John to help them to get one thing off the ground. I suspect that wasn't of top quality if it did, there'll be more resources into this and Spotify looked at it and say, God, we've got a publicity nightmare on our hands, we've got a PR nightmare on our hands. Because it reflects badly for Spotify as well. That these great golden gooses have laid nothing but more smelly old eggs, well they haven't even laid an egg."
To recall, Spotify previously announced that it is hiring producers to help Meghan Markle and Prince Harry complete their projects. The said move came one year after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a reported $25 million multi-year deal to create exclusive content via their production company called Archewell Audio.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are also set to produce documentaries to be shown on Netflix. The Sussex couple is expected to produce more podcasts and documentaries this year.
