Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Promised To Return To U.K. With Sussex Kids

An unnamed source close to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry claimed the couple told Queen Elizabeth that she would be meeting Archie and Lilibet very soon. It was reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex assured Her Majesty that they would return later this year for the Platinum Jubilee.

Most, if not all, royal fans are aware that Queen Elizabeth has yet to meet the 11-month-old great-granddaughter Lilibet. The British monarch has, also, not seen her great-grandson Archie since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the U.K. in 2020.

The unnamed source told The Mirror:

“Both the Duke and Duchess are very mindful the Queen is getting older and has had health issues associated with her great age. They have made it clear they are certainly planning to return to see the Queen with their family in the near future.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry flew off to the U.K. from California on Thursday for a low-key face-to-face meeting with Queen Elizabeth. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also met with Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles in the closely-guarded Windsor Castle.

It is, however, reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were not able to meet Prince William and Kate Middleton, who are believed to be on a skiing holiday in the French Alps this week with their three children -- Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The Cambridges, according to reports, were aware of Meghan and Harry's visit.
