Meghan Markle’s Inability To Adapt Caused Her Departure?
Republic CEO Graham Smith claimed that the shocking departure of Meghan Markle from the royal family was not primarily due to her rift with Meghan Markle. He said it was because of the Duchess of Sussex’s inability to adapt to the monarchy.
In a talk with Express UK, Graham Smith stated:
“It shows that they struggle to accept anybody into the family from outside unless they are willing- as Kate has been - to completely subsume themselves to pre-existing ways of behaving.”
The executive of the anti-monarchy campaign group furthered that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new way of operating revealed that the royal family is “dysfunctional and incapable of being flexible or changing.” Most, if not all, royal followers are aware that the couple retained their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles but were banned from using their former HRH titles.

Kensington Palace: An Intimate Memoir author Tom Quinn also commented on the alleged rift between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton. He shared:
"Meghan and Kate initially got on very well but they are very, very different. Kate wants to do things quietly, she wants to obey the rules, she takes advice – Meghan is a much more strident character who wanted to do things her way, so this caused a rift.”
In a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle addressed the rumors about her reportedly making Kate Middleton cry in an argument over dresses for the royal wedding. The wife of Prince Harry said:
“The issue was correct about flower girl dresses, and it made me cry and it really hurt my feelings. “I thought in the context of everything else that was going on in those days leading to the wedding that it didn’t make sense to not be just doing what everyone else was doing, which was try to be supportive, knowing what was going on with my dad and whatnot."
Meghan Markle furthered that she did not think it was fair to dig into details of the spat. However, she maintained that Kate Middleton is a good person despite their differences.

Meanwhile, royal expert Rebecca English warned that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s criticism of the royal family could further divide the Firm. While it is okay for Duke and Duchess of Sussex to open up about how they struggled with royal life, their denunciation to the other members of the royal family could lead to a “tipping point.”
Rebecca, as per Express UK, stated:
“The Palace have always gone with the never complain, never explain approach. Can we really expect that to carry on? Surely there will be a tipping point? The Palace genuinely don’t want to get drawn into a public slanging match with Harry and Meghan. That said, they [Harry and Meghan] are poking the bear a lot, and people are right to wonder whether there will be a tipping point.”
