Marvel's New Spider-Verse Hero Looks Strikingly Similar to My Hero Academia Character

The Spider-verse heroes of Marvel continue to grow in numbers with dozens of them throughout time and space and their powers and appearances vary. One of the new additions seems strikingly similar to one My Hero Academia character, Ochako Uraraka.

Making an appearance in Edge of Spider-verse #3 that released in September 14 is a spider hero that dons a pink and white suit with a brunette bob. Called as the Sakura Spider, she bears a striking resemblance to Ochako Uraraka from My Hero Academia.

Hida Haruka is a spider hero that came from Earth-19966, an average student who got bit by a radioactive spider, thus, giving her powers similar to Peter Parker, and it changes her whole life from then on. Sakura Spider is a known sidekick of Deadpool in the manga.

Meanwhile, Ochako Uraraka is a hero from My Hero Academia belonging in Class 1-A at UA High School as she practices and trains to be one of the Pro Heroes. Her quirk is Zero Gravity, giving her the ability to float and make others do the same, or pull others down.

Comparing the two characters, their physical appearance are now far from each other. Both have the same brunette bob, a pink and white suit, a petite physique, and personalities that would cheer everyone up despite facing tough villains along the way.

Fans of both Marvel's Spider-verse and My Hero Academia were quick to notice and the new Spider-verse hero may be a nod to Ochako. Here are some tweets of the fans:
