As Black Panther: Wakanda Forever nears its theatrical release, it's quite evident that Marvel Studios is no longer trying to conceal the identity of the person who will become the official successor of T'Challa. As it stands, Letitia Wright's character Shuri is expected to be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's new Black Panther and Marvel's official merch alone has been hinting at it for quite some time now.

Speaking of merch, the first wave of Funko Pop! figures have already hit stores and it gives fans a closer look at the titular hero's new vibranium-powered suit. Pop N Funko Pops shared photos of the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever line on social media and it's already spread like wildfire.

While the suit still carries the overall design of the original, the helmet features a design that is seemingly studded with diamond-like stones with gold accents. Interestingly, the set, which also includes characters like Namor and Queen Ramonda doesn't feature a helmetless variant of the Wakandan hero but of course, most of us already have a clue who the new Black Panther actually is. Of course, Shuri becoming the new Black Panther is already a no-brainer, especially if you'd consider how the character also took on the mantle in the comics. However, fans are divided by the idea of her becoming T'Challa's successor because of the recent controversies faced by Letitia.

As it stands, we're not quite sure how Disney will handle a possible PR nightmare for the film given how some fans have expressed their desire to boycott the sequel if Shuri will indeed be revealed as the new Black Panther.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will hit theaters on November 11, 2022.
