The X-Men seem to be pretty complete these days, with Cyclops, Wolverine, and Jean Grey officially back. Other favorites, like Storm, Nightcrawler, and Kitty Pryde, are also still around, though some of them are still stuck in an alternate reality (thank X-Man). If you're wondering who is next, it looks like the team's mentor is coming back in a major role as well.
X-Men editor Jordan White confirmed to Adventures in Poor Taste that Charles Xavier will be back sooner or later. Granted, he is technically back in the body of Fantomex, going simply by X when asked for his codename. Judging from the image that White shared, it looks like Xavier will be going back to his classic look somehow.
How this will happen isn't known but it looks like it's been in the works for some time. This could also mean that Fantomex will be coming back, which is great news for fans of that character. Hopefully, we get a nice little X-Men reunion when everyone is back since the team could really use a win these days.
Uncanny X-Men is currently the group's flagship title and focuses on a new group led by Cyclops and Wolverine. The two seem to be going back to their roots with their new group, returning to their beloved ‘90s costumes.
