Lori Loughlin got involved in a huge college admissions bribery scandal in 2019. She and her husband paid the incident’s mastermind Rick Singer $500,000 in bribes to get their daughters, Olivia Jade Giannulli and Bella Giannulli, into the University of Southern California as crew recruits, per Parade.
The couple initially pleaded not guilty, claimed the payments they made were a form of a donation to the college. However, they eventually pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud.

Lori Loughlin received a fine of $150,000 and a sentence of two months in prison. She also had to do 100 hours of community service and two years of supervised release.
Alternatively, her husband received a bigger fine of $250,000 and a sentence of five months of imprisonment. He also had two years of supervised release and 250 community service hours.
Lori Loughlin started her two-month sentence in October 2020 and was released in December, while Mossimo Giannulli began his imprisonment in November 2020 and was released in April 2021.
After what happened, the bribe itself and their fines had hurt their bank accounts. The legal fees and the impact on their future earnings also affected their financial status.
Today, Lori Loughlin has a net worth of $70 million, combined with Mossimo Giannulli’s fortune.
