The 37-year-old started her career by recording her vocals publicly on Myspace, ending in airplay on BBC Radio 1, and having a contract with Regal Recordings.

Her first mainstream single, “Smile,” became No. 1 on the U.K. Singles Chart in 2006, while her debut record, Alright, Still, sold over 2.6 million copies worldwide. It also earned her Grammy Awards, Brit Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards nominations.

Allen further released two more albums, Sheezus and No Shame, debuting No. 1 and No. 8 on the U.K. Albums Chart, respectively.

Lily Allen and David Harbour Unveil Stunning Home

After Allen and Harbour tied the knot in 2020, the couple opened their doors to their dream house in the tree-lined Brooklyn neighborhood of Carroll Gardens.

Their humble abode looks every inch eccentric, with their verdant green living room, complete with floral wallpaper, a bronze palm tree lamp, a custom emerald velvet sofa, and a majestic 19th-century crystal chandelier.

The couple hired the service of interior designer Billy Cotton and architect Ben Bischoff to renovate their 19th-century house. They transformed their home by combining ornamental fixtures and vibrant colors that give the rooms more intricate details.

Inspired by the Italian-style classical architecture, Cotton told Architectural Digest they made the house look "as if they'd inherited the home from a kooky Italian nonna with fabulous taste."

"I've always been interested in interiors, and I've always done my own homes. But this was a big undertaking, and I needed help," Allen said. "Together, Billy and I tried to reach for something weird and wonderful.
