Leaked Sonic the Hedgehog Poster FInally Gives Us Sonic's Face

A lot of fans didn't like the first teaser poster for the Sonic the Hedgehog movie because it looked like Sonic had a small furry human body with a giant head. A conceptual poster has leaked online though, and it gives us a look at Sonic's face that's pretty close to the final product.

Check him out:

You'll notice that Chris Pratt is in the poster despite not being in the film. It's because this was only a concept made when Pratt was still being considered for the role. It has been said though that Sonic's look here is pretty close to his look in the final film.

I have to say, I didn't like the first teaser poster, but the image here looks fine. At best, Sonic just looks like a blue Crash Bandicoot. I don't know how anyone thought a silhouette of Sonic would have been the best way to reveal the character.

If anything, everyone's reaction to Sonic could pretty much end up like the reaction to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot; everyone hated the turtles' looks in the trailers, but by the time the movie came out, everyone was onboard.

Sonic the Hedgehog is directed by Jeff Fowler and is executive produced by Tim Miller (Deadpool). Ben Schwartz is the voice of Sonic with Jim Carrey and James Marsden joining the live-action cast.

A cop in rural town of Green Hills will help Sonic escape from the government who is looking to capture him.

Sonic the Hedgehog hits theaters Nov. 8, 2019.
