Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could lose their HRH titles. King Charles could remove their royal titles after they provoked him, according to a royal commentator.
King Charles Planning To Remove Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Royal Titles?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have an upcoming docuseries on Netflix. The second promo seems to aim at the monarchy.
Royal commentator Michael Cole weighed in on the future of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and in his opinion, they could lose their royal titles.
"Three months into the new reign, we can hardly say it's been trouble-free, "Cole said on GB News, Express reported. "They've had to endure ten parts from Netflix, series five of The Crown and now we're going to get a six-part bombardment from grievance incorporated, the Sussex branch that is in California, a sniping from their hilltop fortress, inside this gated community."
He added that it is still unclear what the Sussexes will say in their documentary. However, he believed that there would be bombshell revelations because the streaming giant had invested in the royal couple.
"But Netflix have [sic] invested millions in brand Sussex, Meghan and Harry, and there'll be wanting to have a return on that huge investment," the expert continued.
Aside from the docuseries, Prince Harry's memoir Spare will be out next month. There are speculations that he would share personal stuff in his book that may only worsen his already strained relationship with his family.
Due to this, Cole was convinced that the new monarch could strip the Sussexes' royal titles.
"I think it's entirely possible that the King will say enough is enough and remove the titles HRH from them, which he's perfectly entitled to do," he continued. "Now, this may seem also trivial but that is big medicine in royal circles where things like this matter very deeply and it would be a sign of disapproval. And my goodness, one can't say that the Royal Family has not been provoked."
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Already Warned About Tarnishing Monarchy Under King Charles' Reign?
Prince Harry and Markle have done several interviews after they stepped down from their royal duties in 2020. Many also noticed that they were not afraid to share personal stuff and even put the royals in a difficult situation when they alleged that a member of the firm raised concern about their unborn child's skin color prompting many netizens to call the royal family racist.
Vanity Fair royal editor and correspondent Katie Nicholl warned the Sussexes. The New Royals author said they could face the "ruthless side" of the new monarch.

"[King] Charles is not going to stand back and let the family or the institution or the reputation of the crown, which is everything to him, be tarnished or indeed trashed," Nicholl said on GB News after noticing that Prince Harry and Markle are "not afraid to be critical of the institution."
"I think perhaps there might be a question mark over the future of Harry and Meghan's titles, potentially, if they are seen to be deliberately tarnishing the reputation of the monarchy. Absolutely."
