King Charles is one of Prince Harry’s subjects in his new book Spare. According to his son, King Charles was the one who told him about Princess Diana’s passing. However, the monarch did not hug him instead, he simply put his hand on his thighs.
Other than this, Prince Harry also claimed that King Charles banned Meghan Markle from joining him in Balmoral to say goodbye to Queen Elizabeth. The Duke of Sussex also alleged that King Charles urged him and Prince William not to make the final years of his life a misery because of their constant fighting.
King Charles’s Heart Allegedly Goes Out To His Son Prince Harry
But despite all these claims and more, Woman’s Day is alleging that King Charles still holds Prince Harry dearly in his heart. In fact, the new monarch is allegedly worried about his son’s mental health.
“As much as Charles hates that Harry seems hellbent on sharing dirty family laundry with the highest media bidder, his heart goes out to his son. Harry’s always been an emotional boy but he seems very lost at the minute, and Charles is worried about his mental health. It’s also a lot for Charles to deal with – becoming king in his mid-70s and watching his adult son publicly implode,” the source said.

King Charles Understands That Prince Harry Is Still Dealing With His Trauma Following Princess Diana’s Death?
The insider added that King Charles knows that Prince Harry went through so much trauma following Princess Diana’s death. And even though it’s been over two decades since the former Princess of Wales passed, the Duke of Sussex is still dealing with some of this trauma in his adult life.
“Charles is well aware of how much trauma Harry still carries about his mother’s death, but it is very startling to realize that Harry can’t see past his own misery and see that he’s actually being hugely hypocritical by sharing personal details with journalists and cruel stories in his new book – exactly the thing he claims Charles and William’s offices did to him,” the source said.
King Charles Plans To Talk To Prince Harry Face-To-Face In California?
With this, the unnamed source claimed that King Charles is planning a trip to Los Angeles so that he could talk to Prince Harry and Markle face-to-face.
“Charles has set aside his own hurt from Harry’s behavior and wants nothing more than to go see him in California. He’s always made it clear that Harry would be welcomed back with open arms, and in fact, has told the Sussexes they have a standing invitation to stay with him at any time. But after seeing Harry’s erratic behavior in his latest interviews, Charles feels he needs to take more affirmative action. He knows deep down he needs to be by his son’s side,” the source concluded.
