King Charles And Queen Consort Camilla Crying After Their Wedding Dubbed A Sweet Moment
During a recent interview, royal expert Angela Levin detailed a sweet moment between King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla after their royal wedding in 2005. It seems the couple had to endure so much stress in the lead-up to their wedding that the minute their ceremony was over, they both burst into tears.
"After the ceremony, they walked up the stairs in Windsor and both burst into tears. I have that from one of their most popular aides. I thought to myself, there was so much tension. Camilla was very scared no one would turn up to the wedding because they had a normal wedding, not a church wedding," she said (via Daily Star).

King Charles And Queen Consort Camilla Struggled In The Leadup To Their Royal Wedding
Levin also revealed that Queen Consort Camilla refused to get out of bed the morning of her big day because she just couldn't cope with the stress and pressure. This was very unlikely for the mom of two because she was known for enduring everything that came her way.
"She is a woman who can cope and this was too much. To see both of them really weak, it must have been really moving," Levin said.
Levin also acknowledged the fact that not a lot of women have gone through what Queen Consort Camilla went through just to be with King Charles. Some of her critics even called her names and dubbed her "the most hideous woman."
"I don't think many women could have gone through what she went through. From a very happy home, loads of friends, no necessary aims because she had lots of money, and then to be vilified, called the most hideous woman. That was at a time when she was with King Charles but she had no protection because they weren't engaged or married. People would be crowding around her if she went to the supermarket, throwing things at her. People would be outside her house - absolutely hideous but she survived it and the survival is very interesting," Levin said.
Queen Consort Camilla Learned To Rise Above The Criticisms, Get On With Life
In July, Queen Consort Camilla finally broke her silence on the countless criticisms she received, especially at the start of her relationship with King Charles. She told British Vogue that she found a way to live with it.
"I was scrutinized for such a long time that you just have to find a way to live with it. Nobody likes to be looked at all the time and, you know, criticized. I think in the end, I sort of rise above it and get on with it. You've got to get on with life," she said.
