King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton recently appeared in a new portrait shortly after Queen Elizabeth’s death. The snap was taken on the night before Her Majesty’s funeral. And even though the royals were in a somber mood, they were forced to smile for the cameras.

King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William, And Kate Middleton Sent A Message Of Unity With Their Portrait
Following the release of their portrait, King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton are now being dubbed the new Fab Four. The moniker previously belonged to Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle.
But according to body language expert Jesus Enrique Rosas, the monarch, his wife, and their successors do not necessarily want to be referred to as the new Fab Four.
“I think the most important message they wanted to send with this picture is something that is kind of obvious. [They are saying], ‘Even in this situation, even in this circumstance, we are together.’ They are not, of course, calling themselves the Fab 4, but they are sending a message of unity. Even though it was an uncomfortable moment–it was a moment to feel upset, sad, mourning the queen,” he said (via Cheat Sheet).

British Monarchy Is In Good Hands Thanks To King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William, Kate Middleton
Rosas also claimed that the senior working royals wanted to assure the public that the British monarchy is in good hands and they are looking forward.
“And that’s what the queen would have wanted to see even in these circumstances,” he said.
The success of the British monarchy wouldn’t solely depend on how King Charles III does his job. It would also largely depend on the support that he would get from his wife, eldest son, and daughter-in-law. Luckily, the three royals have a grown-up rapport that will benefit the monarchy.
Queen Consort Camilla Works Well With Prince William, Kate Middleton
In the book Camilla: From Outcast to Queen Consort, royal author Angela Levin said that the Prince and Princess of Wales have a wonderful relationship with Queen Consort Camilla.
Camilla and Middleton also bonded over their normal lives when the latter first joined the royal family. In fact, the queen consort used to invite Middleton to have meals with her so that she could take her under her wing.
And just before her royal wedding to Prince William, Camilla invited Middleton for lunch. And the Princess of Wales was touched by her stepmother-in-law’s gesture.
In June, the two royal women also proved how close they are when Camilla asked Middleton to take her photos. According to royal expert Natalie Oliveri, the moment between the two illustrated their warm friendship toward each other.
Oliveri also said that Camilla and Middleton grew closer after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left The Firm, according to Cheat Sheet.
