King Charles III reportedly has not made up his mind regarding his grandchildren's royal titles. But even if this is the case, he still wants to be more involved in Archie and Lilibet's lives.

Archie, Lilibet's Royal Titles Still Not Finalized

In her article for Vanity Fair, royal author Katie Nicholl acknowledged that there are so many conversations regarding Archie and Lilibet's future royal titles. After all, in simplest terms, now that their grandfather is monarch, they are supposed to be styled as Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex.

But because Prince Harry and Meghan Markle already quit their duties two years ago, they may no longer be entitled to the perks of having their two kids use their royal titles.

"The queen made it clear that if Harry and Meghan chose to leave, they could not reap the benefits of being royal," she wrote.

Nicholl also claimed that King Charles III has not made up his mind with regard to the royal titles of his grandchildren. And his decision would depend on what will happen next.

"It depends a lot on what happens in the coming months, particularly with Harry's book and their TV show," she said.

But regardless if Archie and Lilibet inherit royal titles or not, King Charles III still wants to become more involved in their lives. Unfortunately, this might be difficult to achieve because Prince Harry and Markle's children reside in the United States.

King Charles III Should Carefully Think About Giving Archie, Lilibet Royal Titles

Meanwhile, Radar Online previously claimed that King Charles III should think long and hard before he makes a decision regarding his grandchildren's royal titles. After all, it is possible for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to have new security demands if their kids inherit royal titles.

"Harry and Meghan were worried about the security issue and being prince and princess bring them the right to have certain levels of royal security," a source said.

Another source told People previously that it's unlikely for King Charles III to change the rules with regards to giving his grandchildren royal titles.

"Archie will almost certainly become a prince one day. Charles isn't going to disavow his grandson, so it's hugely unlikely that he'll change the rules to stop it from happening. Charles also isn't going to say that Archie can't use the title any time soon," the source said.

And it seems the same rule will apply to Archie's younger sister Lilibet.
