Keanu Reeves Releasing Comic Book Series About An Immortal Superhero Who Looks Just Like Him

Keanu Reeves has already proven that he is capable of doing just about anything when he puts his mind to it. And yet, he continues to surprise us. The John Wick 4 star has just been confirmed to have written a new comic book that will focus on an immortal superhero who looks a lot like him.

The new comic book series is titled BRZRKR which is about an immortal who has lived for several centuries and has now been recruited by the US government to go on dangerous top-secret missions. Interestingly, the character looks a lot like Reeves himself and if you believe those theories about the man, you might think this could be an autobiography.

Reeves co-wrote the comics with Matt Kindt and the series will comprise of 12 issues. The comic books will be published by Boom! Studios, which is also the publisher behind the Bill and Ted comics.

The star of The Matrix 4 issued a statement about his new venture.

"I have loved comics since I was a young kid and they have been a significant influence on me artistically," Reeves said. "To have the chance to create BRZRKR and collaborate with legends in the industry like writer Matt Kindt, artist Alessandro Vitti, color artist Bill Crabtree, letterer Clem Robins, and conceptual/cover artist Rafael Grampá – along with the great folks at BOOM! Studios – is a dream come true."

We're loving the idea that Reeves doesn't shy away from projects like these. Needless to say, we can't wait to get our hands on the new comic book.

The first issue of BRZRKR will be available on October 7.
