Ke Huy Quan Shares Awesome Celebrity Meeting on Temple of Doom Set

Being a child actor working on an action fantasy must have been an amazing experience and nobody knows that better than Ke Huy Quan. So it's no surprise that the Everything Everywhere All at Once star has a lot of awesome stories to tell about his time working on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. For instance, Quan just revealed that Star Wars icons Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher once visited the set.

Ke Huy Quan was recently a guest on the Happy Sad Confused podcast where he shared some great stories about his time as a child actor. Interestingly, he revealed that he got to meet some cool people who turned out to be major stars.

"We shot the majority of the movie in London at Elstree Studios. And one day, two grown-ups came to visit us, and I didn't even know who they were at that time," Quan said. "And it was Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill. And we just spent an entire afternoon together."

"It was not until after the movie when they showed me – when George Lucas screened Star Wars to me – that I realized that, 'Oh my God, that one afternoon I was having so much fun with Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia!'" he said.

It's awesome to know that Ke Huy Quan actually met Hamill and Fisher in addition to working with Harrison Ford. With that in mind, we're glad he truly enjoyed his time filming Temple of Doom.

Things have worked out very well for Quan since Temple of Doom. He returned to acting in Everything Everywhere All at Once and his performance as Waymond Wang has earned him the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor. He is also set to star in the second season of Loki, which is expected to premiere on Disney+ later this year.
