Kate Middleton and Prince William reached another milestone in their lives when they turned 40 years old in January and this month, respectively. But due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Cambridges weren’t able to have a massive birthday party with their family and friends. Now, there are claims that Queen Elizabeth could throw the couple a joint birthday party before the summer ends.

Queen Elizabeth Planning A Joint Birthday Party For Prince William, Kate Middleton

According to reports, the queen is keen on throwing Prince William and Kate Middleton a party because they are the future of the monarchy. And two possible venues include Sandringham, which is the queen’s estate, and Windsor Castle, where Her Majesty currently resides.

It has been surmised that the celebration isn’t a surprise party because Middleton and Prince William are both aware of the queen’s plans. In fact, the Duchess of Cambridge reportedly wants to invite Prince Harry.

Kate Middleton Wants To Play The Role Of Peacemaker For Prince William, Prince Harry

While speaking with Express, royal expert Neil Sean claimed that Middleton wants Prince Harry to be at her and Prince William’s joint birthday celebration because it would be a perfect opportunity for the brothers to bond.

“According to a very good source, Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, is very keen for Harry to be invited. Apparently, she thinks this would be an actual great way of bonding together. Birthdays are a time, as she’s pointed out, of celebration, families, and having loved ones around you,” Sean said (via Cheat Sheet).

Last week, Us Weekly claimed that Middleton is doing everything that she can to help repair Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship. After all, the mom of three allegedly feels that her husband still misses his younger brother a lot.

“There’s a small glimpse of hope of saving the brothers from never speaking again: Kate. She can sense that despite everything that has happened, William still feels the loss of Harry,” the source said.

The source added that Middleton has been playing the role of peacemaker between the siblings. And she also spoke to Prince William and Prince Harry separately to try and heal their rift.

“[She] had a quiet word with the boys separately, even going as far as calling Harry in Montecito and suggesting that he reach out to William on his birthday. The issue is William and Harry are both overly stubborn so there’s not much hope,” the source said.

Prince William, Kate Middleton Accused Of Snubbing Lilibet

However, other sources accused Prince William and Middleton of not exerting any effort to introduce their children to their cousin, Lilibet. The contradicting claims made by different publications suggest that not everything being said about the Cambridges and the Sussexes is accurate.

For instance, some royal fans took offense to the royal family’s decision to not allow Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to sit with the Cambridges during the Thanksgiving Service earlier this month. Others explained that the seating arrangement was ideal because the Sussexes were no longer working for the royal family.

Another source explained that the seating arrangement was well thought of because the last thing that the royal family wanted was for the Cambridges and the Sussexes to get unwanted attention.

“Senior members of the royal family were seated in the front row and non-senior members in the second row. [The palace decided] to keep them on opposite sides of [the] cathedral to avoid any unwanted attention,” the source said.
