Kate Middleton and Prince William rarely pack on the PDA in their public outings. However, on a rare occasion, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge showed their sweet and fun side when the latter playfully mocked the former.

Kate Middleton Made Fun Of Prince William's Baking Skills

Prince William and Kate Middleton visited Wales on Tuesday. They dropped by at the Blaenavon Hwb, a community-focused youth center, and chatted with the young people and even tried to bake a local delicacy — the Welsh cake.

The Duchess of Cambridge who bakes made her treats effortlessly. However, her husband struggled and didn't hide it even saying, "I'm under a lot of pressure here," he said, as quoted by Express.

"Do not judge my cooking, this could go horribly wrong. It's not Bake Off," Prince William jokingly added. "Where's Mary (Berry) when you need her?"

The royal couple collaborated with Mary Berry for a BBC special in 2019. Middleton pointed out how "skinny" Prince William's cakes were. "You could put them together?" she added.

Prince William did not fight his wife and agreed his treats looked thinner and may burn while his wife's "look really good."

The future queen consort smiled widely and comforted her husband by stroking his back. However, she was not done yet at making fun of her beloved.

"Well done," she said, before adding, "You made a big mess as well."

Kate Middleton And Prince William Share The Same Humor

Prince William And Kate Middleton started as friends before they dated. They have known each other well before they tied the knot. So, they are that comfortable at poking fun at each other.

The Duke of Cambridge even credited their sense of humor in terms of their compatibility.

"She's got a really naughty sense of humour which really helps me because I've got a really dirty sense of humour so it was good fun, we had a really good laugh, and then things happened," Prince William told Tom Bradby (via Express).

Middleton's hairstylist, Richard Ward, also commented on the duchess' "wicked sense of humor." According to him, "It’s quite dry, there’s no airs and graces – you can have a good joke with her."
