Kate Middleton rolled her eyes at the mention of her sister-in-law Meghan Markle's hit series Suits. The Duchess of Sussex catapulted to fame thanks to the American legal drama TV series she starred in before meeting Prince Harry.

Roya Nikkhah, the royal editor for The Sunday Times, spoke with multiple aides, friends and sources who know Kate Middleton to commemorate the Duchess of Cambridge's 40th birthday. According to them, Prince William's wife rarely speaks or comments on issues, unlike her husband.
Prince William is frank and would often speak his mind even on matters like family woes. However, Middleton doesn't go there.
The duchess is "150 percent more reserved than William," an unnamed friend told Nikkhah.
The insider added that the closest reaction they had from Middleton about Meghan Markle was when she jokingly rolled her eyes at the mention of the former actress' legal drama Suits.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021. During the bombshell tell-all, Markle cleared the air about the rumors that she made Kate Middleton cry.
Markle said, "the reverse happened." Apparently, it was Middleton who allegedly made her cry.
The future queen consort reacted differently, according to insiders. Instead of stamping her feet and demanding to release a statement to defend her name, she thought of her husband, Prince William, who was also affected by the interview.
"In the days after the interview, her priority was William, not how she felt about what Harry and Meghan had done," an unnamed source told Nikkhah. "She has focused on personal support for William in what has been a really sad time in his life. She never predicted the degree of falling out between them."

Meanwhile, another anonymous insider claimed that Middleton never spoke about the issue. However, they allegedly heard a different version from Markle.
"I’ve had hundreds of hours of conversations with her [Kate] and it never came up. I only ever heard from Meghan about that — a very different story from what she said to Oprah," an unnamed source said.

Despite the rumored falling out between the Cambridges and Sussexes, some sources claimed that Middleton and Markle's relationship has since improved after baby Lili's arrival.
"Tensions have eased between Meghan and Kate," a source told Us Weekly in July. "Kate even sent Meghan a gift for the baby. They’re in a better place and have exchanged texts since the birth of Lilibet."
