Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Allegedly Wanted To Move To Windsor Castle

Meanwhile, previous reports claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wanted to move to Windsor Castle. The royal couple wanted a bigger space to grow their family after their royal wedding in 2018. They allegedly approached Queen Elizabeth Ii if they could move to Windsor Castle.

However, the Queen allegedly found the proposal "inappropriate" because the castle has been home to the British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years. It's also the monarch's official residence. So, Queen Elizabeth II offered the Sussexes the Frogmore Cottage instead, according to Sunday Times.
