Kate Middleton and Prince William are reportedly among the many reasons why Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided to ditch the royal life for good. It has been claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s strained relationship with the Sussex couple pushed Meghan and Harry to the edge, which later led to their infamous “Megxit” in January 2020.

Meghan Markle previously claimed that she once cried because of Kate Middleton before her wedding with Prince Harry in 2018 because of Princess Charlotte’s unfitted gown. It was also said that the Duke of Sussex did not take Prince William’s advice to not rush his marriage with Meghan.

Are Kate Middleton And Prince William Reminded Of Their Feud With Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Recently?

Royal expert Andrew Neil claimed that Kate Middleton and Prince William were “reconciled” to their “broken” relationship with Prince Harry. During a recent episode of Channel 5’s documentary called 2021: The Queen’s Terrible Year, the BBC journalist stated:

“I’m pretty sure from what I’ve been told that Prince William and Kate are reconciled to the fact that this is broken, and it can’t be put together. Not in the foreseeable future anyway, and that they need to go their way and William and Kate will go their way.”

Most, if not all, royal fans can recall that Prince Harry got reunited with Prince William in two different occasions since his departure from the royal life. One was during the funeral of their late grandfather, Prince Philip, who passed away at the age of 99 in April 2021 and during the unveiling of the late Prince Diana’s statue at the Sunken Gardens in Kensington Palace in July.

While the husbands of Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are clearly cold towards each other, Prince William and Prince Harry were sighted deep in conversations on both occasions. Queen Elizabeth, as per reports, was affected by the interactions of Prince Charles’ sons.

Stewart Purvis, a former TV executive, said in the documentary:

“It must be galling for the Queen. I don’t think you ever quite get used to it when it’s so close to you personally. To see your grandsons being cross-examined in the sense of their body language constantly being pored over by the press.”

Kate Middleton and Prince William may have another opportunity to meet Prince Harry again as Queen Elizabeth is set to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee, which will take place in the United Kingdom from June 2 until June 5. It remains to be seen, however, if Meghan Markle would finally be returning to Britain together with the Duke of Sussex.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton previously denied the allegations that she got obsessed with Prince William before they were married. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge previously had a sat down interview with Tom Bradby following their engagement.

During the said interview, Kate Middleton was asked about a certain speculation that was going around at the time. The host, then, asked Prince William’s ladylove if she had a photo of the Duke of Cambridge on her wall when she was a little girl.

“There’s a story that goes around that you had a picture of him on your wall,” Tom Bradby stated to which Price William responded with: “There wasn’t just one, there was about 20.”

Kate Middleton was not having any of it and instantly debunked the allegations, saying: “He wishes. No, I had the Levi’s guy on my wall, not a picture of William, sorry.” The retort of the Duchess of Cambridge took Prince William aback as he murmured: “it was me in Levi’s honestly.”
