Kate Middleton plays a significant role in keeping the royal family together. According to several sources, the duchess is inclined in helping other members of the royal family mend their relationship, earning her the title "peacemaker." However, Princess Eugenie could also play a role in bringing Prince Harry back to the firm.
Kate Middleton Replaced By Princess Eugenie As Peacemaker In Winning Prince Harry?
The Duke of Sussex and Princess of York have grown up together. According to several sources, he is closest to Princess Eugenie, and the latter is more than just a cousin to him because she is also his confidante.
Prince Harry is also close to Kate Middleton. In a previous interview, he said the Duchess of Cambridge was the sister he never had. However, between the two female royals, Princess Eugenie might have higher chances of convincing Prince Harry to mend his relationship with the rest of the royal family.
"Hopefully, Eugenie can be the peacemaker," royal expert Jennie Bond told OK! magazine. "I’m absolutely certain Eugenie and Harry are still as close."
She continued, "I think we all thought Kate would be the peacemaker, certainly at the funeral of Philip when she was engineering a chat between Harry and William. But I think if there is a peacemaker, it will be Eugenie."
Kate Middleton And Princess Eugenie's Last Sighting With Prince Harry
Kate Middleton was last spotted with Prince Harry at the funeral of Prince Philip in April 2021. The Duchess of Cambridge exited the church with her husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry. Many noticed that as the royal trio walked side by side, the duchess slowed down her pace to give the royal siblings their own moment.
Prince Harry returned to the UK in June of the same year for the unveiling of Princess Diana's statue. He reunited with his elder brother, but Middleton didn't join them at the event.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry was spotted with Princess Eugenie over the weekend. The royal cousins watched Super Bowl LVI. The royal princess traveled to the U.S. and left her 1-year-old son August to join Prince Harry for his first Super Bowl. The Duchess of Sussex was noticeably missing during the sighting.
Princess Eugenie and her family also live in Frogmore Cottage, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's official residence in Britain. So, she and Prince Harry see each other every time he returns to his home country because he stays in Frogmore.
Apparently, Prince Harry is closer to his cousin Princess Eugenie than sister-in-law Kate Middleton.
